The Spin Laboratory was born with the aim of giving life to our customers’ ideas and making projects concrete.

MISURING AND TESTING MATERIALS

We can identify and detect magnetic properties of soft ferromagnetic materials even on finished samples such as stators of rotating machines and cores for electromagnets. We can also measure the coercive force of samples including those with particular shapes, as well as providing a vast assortment of materials available for our customers to use.

MOTOR TEST BENCH FOR ELECTRIC MOTORS

Our motor test bench for electric motors is able to identify and detect the following electro-mechanical characteristics:

  • Motor RPM
  • Drive torque
  • Power ( absorbed, apparent efficiency)
  • Voltage and current harmonic analysis
  • Motor winding resistance
  • Temperatures

CUSTUMIZED MEASUREMENT SETUP

Spin designs and builds automated and customized measurement setups. We develop user friendly interfaces and returning accurate results in a short time. Some examples of measurement setups developed by Spin:

  • Permeameter for static fields (DC): allows to measure the magnetization curve, the coercive field and remanence
  • Coercimeter: can also be used for samples of non-toroidal shapes
  • AC permeameter: allows to measure specific losses and hysteresis curves on laminated materials
