Design plays a key role in the concept creation, development and realization of electrical devices and motors. After preliminary analysis and ascertaining the feasibility of the project, we move on to the design and development phase, examining every aspect.
Spin’s team is made up of specific profiles for each area of expertise and analysis. In the product development process, we rely on the virtual prototyping method using multi-disciplinary software to validate the design before making a physical prototype. This process reduces the cost of prototyping the device by significantly reducing design errors and risks. To develop our designs, we use software from our parent company Altair of which we are Italian users, developers and distributors. This allows us to support the customer and intervene promptly via our technical support portal.
The design and development service for electric motors and devices can be activated by means of consultancy (package hours on a single project) or by means of a TSA (Technical Support Agreement), a collaboration contract aimed at providing a complete consultancy service. The TSA makes it possible to have a team of technicians available to deal with the various aspects of design in a coordinated manner and at the client’s disposal.
Optimization of devices and electric motors
If you have a project already underway, a device or an electric motor whose performance or size you need to improve, you can look into our optimization service. We will examine your device’s data by analyzing losses, voltages, currents and materials using the measuring instruments and test bench in our laboratory.
After an initial evaluation phase, we optimize performance and efficiency using professional simulation software to achieve the desired results. In addition, we offer advice on new materials and/or technologies that can significantly influence and improve the final product.
For the optimization of electrical devices and motors we use software from the Altair suite for which we are distributors and users.
