Multibody analysis is used in many fields including aerospace, automation, industrial and mechanical engineering; it considers a mechanical system composed of rigid bodies exerting relative motion.
This type of analysis allows us to simulate rigid, flexible mechanical parts, control systems, constraints and rigid or flexible joints that limit movement, and to evaluate how these systems move with each other when stressed by specific forces. When performing multibody analysis, we simultaneously examine kinematic, dynamic and structural behavior by evaluating mechanical stresses, trajectories and the velocities of motion of the forces involved.
Thanks to the multidisciplinary technical team and the use of professional calculation software, Spin carried out multibody analyses for the industrial and e-mobility sector, analyzing both information on system dynamics alone and the stresses and deformations of individual components.
